Are You Interested In A Breckin Labrador?

Bringing a Labrador into your life is a big decision, and we’re here to make sure it’s the right one. At Breckin, our puppies are carefully bred from healthy, proven lines with the goal of producing the very best in type, temperament, and trainability. Raised in our home and socialized from the very beginning, our Black and Yellow Labradors grow up ready to shine - whether in the show ring, out in the field, or as your family’s best friend.

Why Choose a Breckin Puppy?

Rock-Solid Temperaments
Every breeding is planned with stable, biddable temperaments as our top priority.

Health Tested Parents
All breeding dogs have OFA clearances (hips, elbows, heart, eyes) and DNA testing for genetic diseases to ensure your puppy is set up for a long, healthy life.

Carefully Planned Litters
We breed only 1–2 litters a year, ensuring the thought, care, and attention each puppy deserves.

Raised at Home
Puppies are whelped and raised in our home, handled daily, and from 5–8 weeks (weather permitting) spend their days outdoors for fresh air, exercise, and environmental enrichment.  We raise our puppies with the utmost care and consideration to give them an amazing start to be your next best friend.

Health Clearances and Genetic Testing

We take health seriously. Each dog in our breeding program undergoes rigorous health clearances and genetic testing including:

Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA): Hip and Elbow certification

Cardiac Testing: Echo and auscultation clearances

Eye Clearances: Annual eye exams

Additionally, our dogs are genetically tested for:

HNPK (Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis)

PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)

EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse)

CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy)

Coat color, coat length, and the dilute gene
